The Raleigh Branch (General Office) of New York Life Insurance Company was established in 1901. Ninety-six of the first 1,000 policies issued by New York Life were issued in North Carolina. With over 80 agents associated with the Raleigh General Office, New York Life is well represented in eastern North Carolina.
